So many moons ago, they honored my grandad w. presenting him "the Aol Burns Mall" . This was in the courtyard of Fuller Seminary and was to thank him for all that he had contributed throughout the years. I was in sixth grade and still remember my mother yanking me from school, bundled up in my overcoat on the cold winter day, in order not to miss the collaboration to honor my grandad. After that day.....my mind never really went there again, and there was never any reason for me to end up in the Fuller Seminary courtyard.
So.... when Gretta called and I asked her where she wanted to shoot, I was caught off guard when she text me back. At your Grandad's mall ! Embarrassed I had to ask, "and where would that be???...exactly?"
Gretta just finished achieving her Master's at Fuller and on June 13th , she will be handed her diploma. Gretta used to live with my sister and was not only a great friend but a great roommate, I know my sister is sad to say goodbye! She is so uplifting and fun to be around!!
