This is Carlin! I've known this girl since the day she was born. To see her in this light, is bittersweet ... she is so radiant and looks so OLD to me. I was dying while editing these pictures my boys walked in and asked, "Is that Carlin??" . I knew, they too, saw how much she's grown and how she's matured into a Beautiful Young lady! Love this girl!!!!
Cher Ann, Ian, and Gracie live right by the Arroyo, and you can see the beautiful Pasadena Bridge from thier backyard. Such a sweet family and they are celebrating thier 7th anniversary in Puerto Vallarta!! Woo Hoo! Grandma was at the house when I came over so it was fun to get her in with her daughter and granddaughter for a keepsake!

There are so many I want to share w. you from this shoot, but I also recognize, there is a "surprise" factor w. Xmas cards. I tried to be selective w. the ones that I don't think will make the CHRISTMAS CARD! ;) Can I just say BEAUTIFUL FAMILY! It was fun to shoot the Torres' being that they are close friends of mine. So many memories w. these people and they warm my heart. LOVE THEM!
I want rollerskates, OH annnnnnnd a daughter ! ;) These two looked so cute I couldn't help but think how can I get a pair??! Not so much for the ride but for PICTURES ,lol. I love the colors I love the look of these two chickas. ROCKED IT! And we were laughing soooooo hard as Carolyn rode down the driveway on these rickety old vintage steel wheels ready to go down, but she held it together, even w. the speed she had caught. Great memories w. these photos.
Only, and I mean ONLY , Jaki can pull off a Strawberry Shortcake outfit on a regular, average, every day DAY. Style is oooooozing out of her. She is always put together w. things I wouldn't think of picking up or evening attaching to my outfit but it works for her! She is the Spiciest girl I know!Being a mother of FOUR, your mouth can't help but drop open, when you see her as a mom, as a HOT sexy lady all meshed in one. Her kids are yummy and Seth, her man, GOES W. THE FLOW! Good man.
This is the Cushman family ~ and they are a great mix of FAMILY~ ! They live in Glendora and have a busy, crazy, always going life, w. FOUR kids! Julia is so much fun and I always learn something from her. Her oldest daughter, Courtney is getting ready to drive and her youngest son, Grant is only 4 so she is caught up in both worlds. Courtney, the oldest, is sooo mature, and seems years beyond her age. Sarah is happy go lucky and blends into any situation perfectly, Scotty has some special needs but you can't help but smile whenever your near him! During our shoot he was meeting and greeting those who walked by, and a couple lucky ones got a hug! Grant is the baby and lucky guy is coddled by all five! And Julia has a WONDERFUL Man, ROB!!! He supports her, helps her and doesn't complain (at all) when making him take a picture :).They are a great team and we got some great shots!
These lil guys, Jake and Caleb look like they jumped right out of a J-Crew Catalogue. And Gracie looked like a princess in her "French" chair! Mom, (Tamara) was there by my side w. a spray water bottle and comb to control fly aways ;) . We were a great team and got some fun shots of these sweet babes! It was fun to see their new beautiful home that overlooks the entire rose bowl! Ridiculously amazing view!
I have been quite busy lately and do hate when this much time lapses between bloggings. You would think the busier I am the more I have to post, but somehow it doesn't seem to work that way. Tannis, Byron and Olivia were caught in the rain and it totally worked for them. We dipped in and out of stores for a cup of coffee (actually Tannis got iced tea ??!! Lol ) on this rare rainy day. I love that the rain didn't get these guys down. They were actually excited about it, and it showed in they're pictures.
For those of you who know Dowa, (and I know your smiling at just the mention of her name), I know you ALL love her!!! She has a contagious laugh and a magnetic personality! I had so much fun shooting the Ross family! They are so loyal and this was our fourth shoot together. We reflected back on many years ago when we first got together... how time flies! Dowa and Stephen are the life of the party! They always have so much going on , that I love to catch up w. them and hear all about their lives and all that their juggling. When I first arrived, Savannah (the oldest daughter) brought me upstairs and showed me her choreographed dance moves to Hannah Montana's "Party in the USA". These 'lil girls have personality coming out of their ears, not to mention some moves on them, and as you can see they got blessed w. the LOOKS too! Georgeous family! They also had Dowa's mother along with them which some of you might recognize from last years post. She has so much character, I always get a little tingle when I get to aim the camera her way!
I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to get to shoot so many teachers at our school.... It gives me a whole new perspective on who they are and a little glimpse into their real lives. Mrs. Macintosh is an exceptional 4th grade teacher and I quote "she's like a private school education for a public school price". Her countless hours are represented as the kids go onto the next level with strengths and qualities they can apply for many years as they move forward. Christian and Julian and Charles are her 3 boys (inc. hubby). Christian is in 8th grade while Julian has just entered high school. Both boys are into baseball, so we captured a little bit of what's consuming their lives right now, as well as got some really fun rustic shots.
