Meet the Fairbanks!

This family is sweet as pie! I've known Lisa for a few years now, not only is she a friend but also a neighbor. Her kids are now grown and it reminds me how fast time goes by and how soon this season of life can come. They are wonderful kids and you can feel how tight the family is, but they are still spread out in different city's and states,spreading their wings, as they should. We spend our whole lives, all day every day, trying to get our kids to become independent ....and then when they are, as a mother it tears at your heart.

2 0 1 3 Ringing in the New Year!!

This year we headed up to Big Bear to celebrate the New Year with friends. Danish dinner was served and the boys played pool and board games with the girls. It was cold outside but cozy in! The lake was frozen and was a beautiful sight. 

He was throwing up snow to make it snow for the picture. Love his help....

We love this family and don't be fooled by these sweet girls faces, they are TOUGH cookies. Not only can they hang with the "older" boys but give em a few years and they might be towering over my boys with their Daddy's genes. He's about 6'4 , and this is big Anders (our Anders' namesake) ;).

We had a fun day of sledding down the hill trying to avoid going straight into the lake. The best laugh was watching the two Dads compete on tiny discs as they fit their big 'ol bodies and raced down flipping over full throtle.

A little bit of this and a whole lot of THAT...

So with as crazy as life gets I've found little or no time to blog.... It has been tugging at me to find the time but this time of year brings lots of other priorities and I've been juggling just to stay afloat. So I wanted to do a hodge podge mix it up throw it all in a bucket kind of post. There are so many beautiful families and I do think they deserve to be shared. There is no rhyme or reason to the order or post so no other explanation needs to be had. Just lovely people.

Enzo and Ava!

These two cuties could not be more different. Pretty lil Ava sits still and bats her eyes at the camera while Enzo is a spunky full of life busy little boy! Both are ridiculously adorable and I'm just thankful we got some with his cute smile. 

Such a BEAUTIFUL famliy!!!!! 

Been a long time...

Samira was sharing with me how long it's been since they've done a photoshoot. Her excitement and giddyness made me smile. She is so full of life and I love the outfit she picked. 

Are you Brittish??

Rachael is from London and her Brittish accent is lovely to listen to. Rachael has three beautiful girls and we lead very different lives even though we are just a couple blocks away from each other. She and I can talk up a storm. I had more fun after the shoot sitting in the front seat of the car gabbing non stop exchanging stories. Rachael was so great about coming out of her shell for these pictures. She was not excited about getting in front of the camera, but I think she did Amazing! She looks so natural. Eaton Canyon

We headed up to Eaton Canyon where Tom grew up. So many beautiful spots to choose from.  I think it was neat for him to come back with his kids to where he used to play.

Such a beautiful family! Cissie and I know a lot of the same people even though we don't know each other well. Part of the fun of staying local I guess. Both of us were born and raised in this area. Why would anyone ever leave, right?!

A little vintage flare...

When I saw Anne walking up with her beautiful Jcrew looking family and their vintage baby buggy, I got excited. This buggy was from Ann's babyhood, which made it that much more special. We hit up City Hall in Pasadena and had to fight off all the other brides and their entourage. There were babies, brides, and quienceneras . I guess it's a popular spot! 

You could tell these kids were used to being in front of a camera, and YES they all have agents~ because when your this cute AND you live in LA , how can you not?! 

When I gave out these well deserved lollipops, I had no idea how quick they were to make an adorable outfit messy! I felt horrible, but thank goodness I got permission beforehand. Hope it washed out. Made for some fun shots though....

 

Little Maddilyn

This little one month cutie came into my house with big eyes and cheeks that make you want to pinch. Little Maddilyn is so cute I wanted to pick her up and never put her down. It was so nice to get a little baby fix in, during the shoot. . . Isn't she perfect??!!! 

 

She's faking you out. She didn't sleep a wink ;)...
